Emily Glover is a native of Lynchburg, Virginia, and currently serves as First Violin with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and a regular substitute with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
Beginning her violin studies at the age of 3 in Lynchburg, Ms. Glover went on to earn her Bachelors of Music degree from Furman University, and a Masters of Music degree from Boston University.
While in Boston, Ms. Glover served as Concertmaster of L’Orchestra da Camera – Boston, an ensemble she co-founded that served to give young professionals performance opportunities. As a soloist, she has appeared with the Lynchburg (VA) Symphony, National Repertory Orchestra and Furman Symphony Orchestra. As an orchestral violinist, she has performed in numerous orchestras, including the Greenville (SC) Symphony, New World Symphony, Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, Evansville (IN) Philharmonic, and the Owensboro (KY) Symphony.
Emily currently lives in Indianapolis with her husband, David, who also works with the Indianapolis Symphony.
