Behind the Music

Curious to hear the stories behind the fantastic music being performed at the Colorado Music Festival? Eager to meet new Festival friends who share your love of music? Meet us in front of Academic Hall before Thursday and Friday night concerts. Your Colorado Music Festival concert guide will meet you there for a 30-minute presentation to answer your questions about the selected music and guest artists.

Time: Thursdays at 6:30 pm; Fridays at 5:30 pm
Location: Meet in front of Academic Hall (north side)

Have you attended Talks Under the Tent? Here’s how Behind the Music is different:

• We heard you! Based on patron feedback, we’re making Behind the Music more accessible and less formal or academic.
• Behind the Music features a rotating list of guest speakers based on each week’s programming.
• Bring your own picnics, wine, or snacks! Food is not allowed in Chautauqua Auditorium, but can be enjoyed at our Behind the Music meeting spot in front of Academic Hall.
