Thousands of concert-goers enjoy the sheer beauty of Festival performances! The 2023 Festival enjoyed record paid attendance as we continued to work with our friends at Circle of Care, VetTix and I Have A Dream Foundation to provide tickets and transportation to those who benefit the most.
The Festival continued to celebrate the underrepresented voices of women composers and people of color by commissioning groundbreaking works such as Wang Jie’s Flying on the Scaly Backs of Our Mountains. Our live, world-premiere performance reached over 1.1 million listeners on National Public Radio’s Performance Today.
The Festival’s international reputation for excellence has resulted in articles in the New York Times, BBC Music Magazine, Wall Street Journal, and The Strad highlighting the festival and our beautiful Colorado Chautauqua home.
The Festival Fellows program continues to offer eight aspiring musicians from diverse backgrounds orchestral and chamber music performance opportunities with valuable networking and coaching from, Peter Oundjian, guest artists, and orchestra musicians.
The Festival worked with VetTix (veterans), Circle of Care (seniors), and Marshall Fire families to provide complimentary tickets to over 1,000 community members.
We celebrated Rachmaninoff’s 150th birthday in style with Nicolai Lugansky at the piano. Music Director Peter Oundjian proclaimed, “This is as close as we can get to Rachmaninoff’s own interpretations,” noting that Lugansky’s line of teachers originates from Rachmaninoff himself.
The Festival’s workshop of Joshua Bell’s Elements prepared composers for world-premiere performances around the world including Germany, Hong Kong, New York, and Chicago.

Monthly Giving
When you sign up for monthly giving, you provide our organization with valuable resources and financial stability. A monthly, recurring gift of any amount — one that is meaningful to you — will enable us to share the power of music. You can sign up for your monthly donation by visiting our online donation portal and selecting “Show my support by making this a monthly gift.”
Donor Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund (DAF) allows individuals to make charitable contributions and receive an immediate tax deduction. The funds are managed by a DAF custodian, and the donor can recommend grants to their preferred nonprofit organizations.
