2022 Pre-Concert Improvements

May 16, 2022

We love receiving feedback from Festival attendees and we continually endeavor to improve the Festival experience in response to that feedback, in collaboration with our partners at Chautauqua Auditorium. Below are some of the concert enhancements and improvements you can look forward to in the 2022 season.

Food

Food will be available at the Chautauqua Picnic Shelter on all performance evenings with the exception of our July 3 Family Concert. Food will be available starting 30 minutes prior to the doors opening, and ending at the close of intermission. Payment will be accepted by cash and credit card.

Specific menus are forthcoming, but the foods offered will be two types of salad, two types of sandwiches, an assortment of beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and sweets.

Outside alcohol is not permitted. Chautauqua advises that patrons will be asked to return their alcohol to their cars, as it cannot stay at the Picnic Shelter in accordance with the Dining Hall’s liquor permit with the City of Boulder.

Hop 2 Chautauqua

Chautauqua has updated their page of information about their free HOP 2 Chautauqua shuttle to help make it even easier to use. Visit chautauqua.com/HOP for full details, including pickup and drop-off locations.

Festival T-Shirts

Many patrons have inquired about Festival merchandise. This year we will be offering Festival t-shirts for presale during the Festival, to be delivered once the Festival has ended. Look for more details about designs and prices in the near future.
