Adam Trussell

Originally from Portland, Maine, Adam Trussell now plays in the Houston Symphony as their contrabassoonist.  He has held other full-time positions with the Oregon Symphony (2011-2019) and the Omaha Symphony (2005-2011).  In addition to playing in orchestras, Adam loves teaching bassoon students.  He’s been on the faculty of many colleges and also teaches privately.  He makes and sells bassoon and contrabassoon reeds and also runs a business as a Fox Products dealer.  You can find more information about Adam on his website adamtrusselldoublereeds.com.
