Sensory Friendly

December 18, 2017

The Colorado Music Festival is proud to offer some performances designated as sensory friendly. In 2018 both the Young People’s and Family Fun concerts will be sensory friendly.

What makes this a sensory friendly performance?

·         House lights will remain on during the performance

·         Microphone volumes will be decreased

·         Staff will be easily accessible for any problems or questions

·         Involuntary movements and noises are acceptable and welcomed

·         For anyone who feels they need to move during the performance, a designated movement area is available in the back of the auditorium

·         Seating is general admission, so individuals may find a comfortable place to sit
