Jim Heeter
President
Jim and Judy Heeter were part-time Boulderites for years before relocating from Kansas City to be close to their three children and six grandchildren. Jim describes himself as a “recovering lawyer” who specialized in corporate transactions and served as a managing partner and executive committee member of the world’s largest law firm. Elected at-large to the City Council of Kansas City, Missouri, Jim also served as president of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and president and CEO of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. Experience as a director of the Kansas City Symphony and board president of Young Audiences, Inc. prepared him well to lead the board of our Colorado Music Festival and Center for Musical Arts.

Anne Beer
Anne Beer is a professional violinist having studied at the Eastman School of Music, NY and the Royal College of Music in London. As an orchestral musician she has played and recorded with numerous national and international orchestras, chamber orchestras and festivals. She has shared her expertise and passion for music and the arts by serving on the CMF&CMA board, as President, and prior to that on the boards of the Dairy Center for the Arts and Boulder County Arts Alliance. Ms. Beer also maintains a teaching studio.
Kathy Czerny
Norma Ekstrand
Norma has spent her entire professional career in health care. She was Director of Health Information Management at Lake Forest Hospital, Lake Forest, Illinois, and recently completed 28 years as Director of Health Information Management at Boulder Community Health. She has served as a dedicated volunteer for CMF&CMA for 20+ years. She was on the Board of Directors of Boulder Rotary Club, Board member and Vice-President of Boulder County Hospice, and Board member and President of the Colorado Health Information Management Association. Upon her retirement from health care in 2013. She was awarded a Professional Lifetime Achievement Award from that association.

Larry Jones
Larry is the Principal at Aegis Management, LLC, a management consulting firm. He has over 25 years of experience in the software, information & IT services, marketing services and clean-tech. Jones has a proven track record as the CEO of seven technology companies leading public, private equity and VC backed high-growth and turnaround situations. Over the past 20 years, Jones has served as director of 15 public and private companies. Larry is currently Chairman of Apps Associates, an Oracle systems integrator, director at Astrix Inc., a life sciences IT services provider, and director at Synoptek, an IT Services company. Previously, he was the CEO of Coalfire that provides cybersecurity risk advisory services. Larry also serves as Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee at Colorado Music Festival and Center for Musical Arts. Previously he served on the non-profit boards of Etown, Lees school of Business and LOCAL Theater Group. Larry graduated from WPI and earned his MBA from Boston University. He currently resides in Boulder, Colorado, and New York City.
John Krampf
Kathy Krol
Kathy Krol moved to Boulder from Indiana in 2017 and joined the CMA/CMF board in 2023. She is a physician, now retired from her Interventional Radiology practice. She has a consulting business, helping to bring new medical technologies to patients, and continues to be a patient and physician advocate. She has two children with musical backgrounds and 4 beautiful grandchildren. In her spare time, she loves to hike all the beautiful trails in Colorado, plays pickleball and plays piano.
