Jarek Polak

Canadian violinist Jarek Polak has been a member of the Colorado Music Festival orchestra since 2000. Born in Krakow, Poland, he makes his home in Vancouver, British Columbia. Having served as a member of several orchestras in Eastern Canada for many years, he now enjoys freelancing as an orchestral and chamber musician in Western Canada. Jarek also maintains a teaching studio. In his leisure time, he enjoys hiking and the natural beauty of the mountains, especially in his beloved Colorado. In addition, Jarek is an avid skiier, scuba diver and has a passion for good sushi and other fine Pan-Asian cuisine.
